Homeless Children’s Welfare

Sometimes, the best way to help, is to get amongst the chaos, get your hands dirty, and provide help where it is needed most.

Our fantastic street team – Student Care Welfare Arm – are regulars in Fortitude Valley, Central Logan and other key areas where they hand out clothes, food and blankets by twilight.

Our presence is always well announced, and we regularly run out of stock on any given night. The children, young people and families who attend are always deeply grateful for the assistance and we’re pleased to be able to make such a difference to their week.

We always welcome donations of; food (no glass, not out of date, unopened), water, can openers, spoons, forks, towels, hand towels, wash rags, toiletries, women’s hygiene, clothing, backpacks, sleeping bags, blankets, sunscreen, hats and mosquito coils for distribution. For more information or to get involved, contact us.
