The Coffee Trailer & Pop-Up Op-Shop
Brewing connection, creating opportunity
One of our next community projects is a Coffee Trailer with a Pop-Up Op-Shop and Party Hire inventory — a creative, mobile way to bring people together, raise funds, and share resources across the region.
The Coffee Trailer will serve as both a friendly gathering point and a social enterprise, offering quality coffee and refreshments at local markets, schools, and community events. Staffed by volunteers and trainees, it will also provide hands-on learning opportunities and pathways into work for young people and parents re-entering the workforce.
Alongside it, the Pop-Up Op-Shop will feature pre-loved clothing, books, and small goods — keeping usable items out of landfill while raising funds for our family programs. The Party Hire inventory will make affordable equipment like marquees, tables, chairs, and decorations available for community use, helping families and groups celebrate without the financial strain.
Why it matters
This project is about more than coffee — it’s about connection, sustainability, and empowerment. Every cup sold and every item shared helps fund essential community services such as food relief, counselling, and youth programs, while fostering dignity and togetherness in a practical, joyful way.
How to get involved
We’re currently seeking:
-
Donations of quality second-hand items or party equipment
-
Volunteers with hospitality, barista, or retail experience
-
Local sponsors to help us launch and keep the trailer on the road
Together, we can create a rolling hub of generosity that serves both body and soul — one coffee, one conversation, one community at a time.
